The house was the home of Joseph Chamberlain before the Parsons family restored it, and it has been run as a family business ever since — over 30 years in the wedding industry between them.
Getting here from Solihull
By car: About 8 miles, roughly 25–30 minutes,
via the A41 Warwick Road, or the A45 and Bristol Road if you are coming via the airport side. There is parking on site.
By train: Solihull station runs direct into Birmingham Moor Street and New Street; the venue is a short taxi ride from either.
By bus: the NX23 and NX24 stop on Harborne Road, a short walk from Berrow Drive.
Guests travelling from Solihull can be back home inside half an hour, which keeps evening numbers high — useful when 170 evening guests are invited.
For those who do want to stay, Edgbaston and Five Ways have several hotels within a mile or two, and the house itself now has guest suites on site.
Ceremony & reception options
Because Solihull is close enough for a same-day return, most couples from the town run a traditional full day — ceremony late morning, breakfast in the Harriet Suite, and the evening reception once the room is turned around. The licence for civil ceremonies means nobody has to travel between a register office and the reception.
